Bear Leaves $70k Lexus Barely Recognizable
In case you were looking for one more reason not to go camping, we’ve got a bear of a tale for you.
A bear in West Vancouver, Canada found a prime Lexus to his liking this weekend. In doing so, he left the car barely recognizable.
Please bear with me, as I set all these terrible bear puns aside and just claw my way into what happened here. Apparently Bardia Sadegh came out of his house on Sunday morning, took one look at his mangled Lexus, and determined there was an unconscionable criminal element to blame. So he called the police (no word on whether or not they were mounted).
As soon as the cops came, they took one look at the damage — leather torn to shreds, front window broken, air bag busted, door de-hinged — and realized it was something a little hairier. Indeed, Sadegh probably should have noted the bear fur and claw marks before jumping to conclusions, but he was likely in shock after seeing his Lexus in such a state.
According to The Weather Channel, Police said the bear broke and entered the $70k Lexus because it was “drawn to the vehicle by a sizable quantity of food being temporarily stored inside.” Although Sadegh claims there was just a little bread and chocolate in the car. Which, after causing roughly $10k damage, the bear didn’t even eat.
So perhaps the bear just doesn’t like Lexus vehicles. But who doesn’t like Lexus vehicles? What an unbearable thought!
