SEMA is just a week away, and the Insta-Built RC F is coming together nicely. Lexus has posted some shots of the work being done at VIP Auto Salon on its official Instagram account, along with a sick pic of a Vossen CVT wheel fresh out of the cutter.
SEMA is right around the corner, and some more photos of the crazy RC F Sport Rocket Bunny is bringing to SEMA. I think the side shot is particularly awesome. I can’t wait to get some more photos of this baby in Sin City!
In the sports car world, everyone who’s anyone tests at the Nürburgring, so it should be no surprise that video of the RC F testing at the Green Hell is starting to trickle out. Round and round she goes–how fast? Somebody knows.
Generally, the math is pretty simple–the smaller the print, the worse the news. Of course, sometimes the less-than-cool stipulations are just buried in the middle of 1000 pages of terms and conditions. Like how iTunes can legally harvest your organs.
Adam Andretti–son of Michael, nephew of Mario–races a bitchin’ Camaro in Trans Am’s TA2 class, but I wonder if he might not like to take a crack at Formula D?
Even more than the LFA, the RC F is going to change how people see Lexus. Because seeing an LFA in the wild is akin to seeing a unicorn and a Sasquatch sipping Pappy Van Winkle’s on a romantic night out.
This weapons-graded RC F is the ride that Lexus will be pinning its hopes on in the FIA’s GT3 class, where it will be tested in ways only “the crucible of motorsport”–to borrow a phrase from Top Gear–can challenge vehicles.
