Top 10 Longest-Lasting Toyota & Lexus Models in 2025!
According to new data from iseecars, here are the top 10 Toyota and Lexus models most likely to last 250,000 miles (or more) in 2025!
Hard to Kill
Each year, iSeeCars puts out its list of the longest-lasting cars, trucks, and SUVs, which are statistically the most likely to reach or exceed the 250,000-mile mark. This year's study is based on data collected from 174 million vehicles - and the results, well, they're not too terribly surprising.
As has historically been the case, Toyota and Lexus dominate this year's longest-lasting vehicles list, securing 14 of the top 25 spots - a truly impressive result, but one that we've come to expect at this point. Here are the top 10 Toyota and Lexus models that are the most likely to hit the quarter-million-mile mark, statistically speaking.
10. Toyota Highlander
Coming in at number 10, we have the Toyota Highlander, which has a 12.7 percent chance at reaching 250,000 miles, according to this year's study - 2.6 times higher than the average vehicle.
9. Lexus RX Hybrid
In the ninth spot, the Lexus RX 350h hybrid has a 17 percent chance of hitting 250k miles, or 3.5 times higher than the average vehicle.
8. Lexus GX
The Lexus GX is a longtime presence on this list, so it should come as no surprise to see the popular SUV land in eighth place this time around with an 18.3 percent chance to hit 250k miles, or 3.8 times higher than the average vehicle.
7. Toyota Avalon
The Toyota Avalon has also been a regular on the list of longest-lasting vehicles, and for 2025, the comfy sedan ranked seventh with an 18.9 percent shot at 250,000 miles, or 3.9 times greater than the mean.
6. Toyota Tacoma
Next up, we have the Toyota Tacoma, a well-known entity in this world for its reliability. The mid-size pickup has a 25.3 percent chance of hitting 250k miles, which is 5.3 times higher than the average vehicle.
5. Lexus IS
The Lexus IS is one of few sedans that has managed to avoid the automotive graveyard, and continues to defy the odds today. It's also quite reliable, with a 27.5 percent chance of hitting 250k miles, which is 5.7 times higher than the average.
4. Toyota Tundra
The Toyota Tundra may have had some hiccups when the latest-generation model debuted a few years ago, but that hasn't stopped it from earning the fourth spot on this list. The Tundra has a 30 percent shot at lasting to the 250k mile mark, or 6.3 times above the average pickup.
3. Toyota Highlander Hybrid
In third place, we have the Toyota Highlander Hybrid, a popular choice among crossover shoppers for some time now. The electrified Highlander also has a good chance of reaching 250,000 miles, too - 31 percent, or 6.5 times greater than average.
2. Toyota 4Runner
The Toyota 4Runner is yet another product from that company that's pretty new, having just received a comprehensive redesign. It remains to be seen how the new versions hold up, but the 4Runner has a reputation for reliability and also has a 32.9 percent shot at reaching 250k miles - 6.8 times more than the average vehicle.
1. Toyota Sequoia
Finally, we have the Toyota Sequoia, which reigns supreme here with a 39.1 percent chance at making it to 250k miles - 8.1 times more than average - a truly impressive and dominant result compared to most other vehicles out there on the highways.
