Barry High has been a loyal Lexus fan for decades. When Lexus realized that he had bought 25 cars in the last 16 years from the very same Lexus dealer they wanted to do something special. Cheltenham Lexus built this custom Lexus LS 600h L specifically for him, as a thank you for his loyalty.

2. A Real One Off

Lexus became aware of how many cars of theirs that Barry owns, and wanted to build a special car for him. The LS 600h L features a set of badges that are exclusive to this very car, which celebrates Barry's 100th birthday. As picked by Barry, the interior is cream-color, and the exterior is silver, featuring a few of these special edition badges, as well as some pinstriping. When Barry arrived, the Lexus was under its cover, just eager to be revealed.

3. Engine

Barry's special Lexus is equipped with the regular LS600h L engine, the 5.0-Liter V8 engine, which works collaboratively with an electric motor to produce 445-horsepower. However, don't expect Barry to be putting this motor to the test, however, he will most likely be driven around due to his old age.

4. The Handover

Barry was welcomed into the dealership with Champagne and a formal toast by Lexus executives. The special Lexus LS600 h L costs $128,000, and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. Barry was accompanied by his chauffeur, who is probably more excited to drive this car than Barry himself. As for Barry, he gets to be driven around comfortably, thanks to features like the Adaptable Variable Air suspension, which will allow Barry to get just the right ride he's looking for while enjoying the rest of the luxury features this car has to offer.

5. Barry High Fact

This special car is no ordinary LS600h and Barry High is no ordinary man. High was a Major in the British Army and the Royal Army during WWll. After the war, Barry spent the majority of his life working in construction. With all of his charity work throughout the years, Barry High was awarded the OBE, which stands for Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
