Rocket Bunny Pandem Aero Widebody Kit

Gordon Ting and Rocket Bunny have come together again to make a special RC F that's wider than the rest.

Gordon is at it again

Gordon Ting of Beyond Marketing (the same man who built the first modified LC) is the man behind the car you see above. He's been integral to the Lexus team when it has come to important project cars. Gordon wanted to take things a bit further than he has in the past with other project cars by making this car a straight up racer.

At least there's still air conditioning

The insides of the car have been stripped down to the point that panels and back seat were tossed out. A custom six-point roll cage and a rear cover was built by Evasive Motorsports and added in. The comfy stock seats have gone by the wayside in favor of lightweight and secure Sparco Grid Competition buckets. The only remnant of how nice this cabin once was is the console and steering wheel.

Those mods tho

As far as heavy duty performance parts, this coupe is lacking. However, almost all the necessary bolt-ons that one could ask for can be found in the car. The intake is an Advanced Flow Engineering Takeda intake and the exhaust is a Greddy Supreme SP dual exhaust. The suspension has gone from a stock one to a more aggressive level courtesy of a KW Variant 3 coilover kit. The front brakes have received an upgrade as well with big Brembo monoblock six-piston calipers. At each corner of the car, you'll find 20-inch Volk TE37 Ultras wrapped in grippy Bridgestone tires to keep things planted to the road.

People certainly won't miss you going by

The beautiful exterior shade that the car is wearing is a 3M "Gloss Burnt Orange" vinyl wrap that gives the car an air of exotic with the flashy color. The Pandem fenders match up well with the functional stock slot vents found on the car. Downforce is a major theme with the car that Gordon was going after with the big payoff being the huge spoiler found on the rear of the car. AT the front of the RC F is a small front splitter that is similarly braced through the front grille of the car. If you order the RC F and option up to the Performance Package you'll get a beautiful carbon fiber roof that is made in the same workshop that created the carbon parts for the LFA.

Who did this?

Rocket Bunny's "Pandem" is a division of RB/TRA Kyoto that is meant for luxury models of cars with the first being this RC-F. This kit looks very similar to the one that Rocket Bunny made for the 350 but this is a new product with a more aggressive direction for the body panels and high spoiler. Many aero kits rely on hand-shaped clay or urethane but RB uses a full vehicle laser-scan for vehicle renderings.
