The GS was long a favorite among Lexus fans, but sadly, it was recently discontinued after several years of disappointing sales. Regardless, that just makes older models like this 2006 GS 430 all the more desirable, and this one might just be the lowest-mile example on earth. It's also up for sale over at Private Collection Motors with a rather hefty asking price of $29,995.

Blue Beauty

The Blue Onyx Pearl Beauty has just 2,175 miles on the odometer and looks the part of a brand new car, too. Everything here is simply perfect, from the dark blue hue to the 18-inch wheels and adorning trim. Other notable features include HID headlights, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust tips.

Time Warp

This GS 430 is certainly a time warp, a car that instantly transforms us back to a much different time in the modern era. Which, coincidentally, was a time when people actually appreciated and purchased sedans and not just crossovers, trucks, and SUVs.

Proper Sports Sedan

The engine that powers it is also a throwback - a naturally-aspirated 4.3-liter V8 that was originally rated to produce 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. As any proper sports sedan should, that power flows back to the rear wheels, with an automatic transmission handling shifting duties.

Equally Stunning

The tan interior is, unsurprisingly, equally immaculate. The leather looks perfect, covering heated and ventilated power seats with no bolster wear. There are quite a few modern amenities here, including dual-zone climate control and an old-style infotainment screen with navigation.

Worth It?

Those of us that miss the GS and sport luxury sedans, in general, will certainly find this '06 model appealing, but we're not so sure that it's worth the $30k asking price. After all, these cars aren't exactly collectibles, even if this one is easily the nicest 2006 GS 430 on the planet.
