Modellista Gets All Strange Days with UX Concept Body Kit

You can't miss it

The new crossover SUV from Lexus has just gotten a futuristic update from the tuner company Modellista. That update comes in the form of a wide body kit that features a closed radiator grille with a screen that could, in theory, be used to show advertising or an indicator to folks outside the SUV that help is needed during an emergency. 

Very futuristic

The Modellista air force body kit is based on the base model UX and would make changes to the front bumper, front fenders, side skirt, and rear bumper to create a more aggressive visual impact. The body kit was created with in-house Toyota sport division - TRD.

Where are the side mirrors?

That wide front bumper with a pronounced lip and slight splitter features a lighted Modellista logo and large screen. The huge new fenders on the kit play host to additional cameras to help the driver navigate safely with the new girthier proportions.

Bringing some fun to the dull small suv market

The UX crossover has hit the market in order to compete in the small SUV segment against the likes of the MB GLA, BMW X1, and Volvo XC40. The theme of the body kit is to communicate while providing advanced safety. Next to that big front grille screen is a kinetic LED system with 30 LEDs to add the capacity to change up the lighting scheme and have a little fun.

We wonder if the kit will become reality?

To finish out the kit there is a quad-pipe sport exhausts system as well as a set of forged 20-inch wheels and a roof wing.
