Manhart Tune Gives MK V Supra Huge Power Bump!
Subtle, yet healthy, upgrades make for a faster and more agile 'Yota.
Manhart Performance
Germany-based performance tuner, Manhart Performance, just launched a new upgrade program to boost Toyota's long-awaited GR Supra. Manhart's specialty has always been BMW M-GmbH, however, the company expanded its performance tunes in to the world's of Audi, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Toyota and Volkswagen too.

Powerbox and ECU Remapping
Manhart's corporate philosophy revolves around making subtle, yet extraordinary, enhancements to already great vehicles. To that end, Manhart adds its MHtronik powerbox and ECU remapping software to crank the already-healthy Toyota/BMW turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 up from 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque to 450 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Exhaust
On top of the engine upgrades, Manhart's tuning of the 2020 Toyota GR Supra involves the installation of the company's premium exhaust system. That includes stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, and stainless steel OPF-delete pipes, downpipe “Race” without catalytic converter. Optional upgrades to the Manhart exhaust system include downpipe “Sport” with 300 cells HJS catalytic converter, 4 x 100 mm black exhaust tailpipes, emulator control module (ECM) deleter, and/or ECM valve control.

Suspension and wheels
To improve handling from the additional power, Manhart offers to lower the car. This includes coilover kit by KW Suspensions or lowering springs by H&R with Manhart tuning. Nine-by-twenty-inch Concave One wheels sit at the front while larger, 10.5-by-20-inch wheels are at the rear. The rims come in a diamond polish but are also available in gloss black or matte black.

Interior
From a visual perspective, most of the 2020 Toyota GR Supra remains the same. Manhart's site notes that the interior can be individually configurable upon request.

Details
To finish off the GR Supra's looks, Manhart adds racing stripes with red accent lines across the side of the car and from the hood to the trunk, and company badging so spotters know this is not your standard Supra.
