The 7 Passenger RX
A few months ago I had the pleasure of driving a Lexus RX 350 F-Sport. It was a nice vehicle but is designed to transport 5 passengers. For those who want to haul more people or gear, the RX 350-L may fill the need. This is basically the same as the other RX SUVs in the lineup but has been stretched 4.4 inches. This makes room for a third-row seat and 7 total passengers.
Third row seat
The third-row seating is large enough for two small passengers.

Spare tire
On the standard RX 350 vehicles, there is a compact spare tire located in the cabin. On the L model, you get a spare, but it is placed outside the vehicle, underneath the body. This means the person changing a tire is going to get dirty reaching under there, but on the positive side, it is a full-size tire.

Engine
The 3.5 liter V-6 is a proven motor. On the L model, horsepower has been reduced from 295 to 290. This particular RX had the optional all-wheel-drive for better traction on wet roads and sand. So equipped, fuel economy is rated at 18/25 mpg.
