Lexus LS400 Proves Little Changes Make Big Difference

Club Lexus forum member guesswh0 is no stranger to Lexus vehicles or the forums, having owned a couple and being a member for quite some time. But after parting ways with his IS 250 a while back, he was itching to get back into the brand. And he did just that with this ultra-clean LS400.

Lost Time

It was a full six years ago when guesswh0 shared his IS 250 build process with us, so you could say his return was overdue. But the car he replaced it with made that long wait truly worth it.

Third Choice?

Silver Jade Metallic wasn't guesswh0's first color choice, but as he says, finding solid LS400s isn't very easy in the Midwest. But even though he wasn't a huge fan at first, he admits that it's growing on him already.

Drop It Down

The only problem with this build? It's a daily driver that has to be parked in the street, so a little subtlety was necessary. But that didn't stop guesswh0 from going with some quality stuff, starting with a set of Truhart Street Plus coilovers to lower his big sedan.

Roll Out

At this point, the car was sitting rather pretty. So the next step was to roll the fenders to make room for a nice, big set of wheels and tires.

Pretty Rollers

Then, it was time to reveal the wheel and tire choice. And we're certainly digging these Aodhan AH03s, which measure in at 19x9.5 + 22 with 235/35/19 rubber up front and 19x11 + 22 255/35/19 in the rear.

Sitting Pretty
