Welcome to luxury

At the Brussels airport, there is a new and very luxuriously modern lounge experience waiting for special guests. At what Lexus has dubbed The LOFT the brand moves beyond a premium automotive line to a global luxury lifestyle marque. The space is now a sanctuary for travelers to Europe and then some to relax and forget about the outside world for a bit of time.

Digging deep into their roots

The undertones of the lounge are rooted in old Japan and the fine traditions of omotenashi, which is the art of hospitality. There are numerous nods to the Lexus heritage with a feel that is modern and contemporary. The LOFT can seat some 175 guests with 700 meter-square space split into a central lounge, a bar area, a quieter upper lounge area, and peaceful workstations. The ceiling height, textures, lighting, and colors all help to create various ambiances throughout the space.

An environment crafted by Lexus

Inside the lounge is a space where guests can learn about the various facets of the Lexus design philosophy, Takumi craftsmanship, the opulent sport yacht, as well as the annual design awards for up and coming creatives which take place at the Milan design fair. To push the notion of a lounge even further, there is also a GROHE spa with sleep pods, personal washrooms, and a massage room, For those who wish to be auditorially whisked away there is a listening suite where guests can relax while enjoying the quality of Mark Levinson audio systems.

Taking some of the stress out of travel

There is a special area provided for personal registration right when guests enter the lounge. Being placed inside of an airport necessitates proper staffing and so a host of multilingual personnel are on hand to provide service to guests.

Pascal Ruch, Head of Lexus Europe, had this to say at the official opening ceremony: "With half a million international guests visiting Brussels Airlines’ Business Lounge The LOFT each year, Lexus sees this partnership for the LOUNGE by Lexus as a unique and exciting opportunity to bring its core brand values to a global audience, reaching beyond the automotive world. This is a place where people can enjoy and get to know Lexus without getting behind the wheel of one of its cars.”

Looks pretty swanky

The space offers everything an air traveler would desire and be delivered in a way that is distinctly Lexus. That mark of quality extends to the original design, high-quality furnishings and materials, carefully curated food and drinks menu, and facilities for work, relaxation, entertainment, and revitalization.

The lounge is open daily from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm and operates on the same admission policy as the Brussels Airlines lounge. Some guests will have free access to the space while others may have to pay a fee. Guests who can access the new Lexus lounge are:
