Carefully Curated

Like most builds here in the Club Lexus forums, member bumbletuna (Nolan) wasted zero time modifying his Lexus IS 350 to his liking. However, his carefully curated list of upgrades certainly didn't make this seem like a rushed build by any means.

First Step

Like most builds we see, this IS started out as a bone stock car. The first step in the build process was also quite common - an exhaust upgrade. In this case, that consisted of PPE headers, an Apexi mid-pipe, and Remark axle back.

Down and Out

The next part of this IS build to address was the stance. Nolan used a set of hub-centric spacers measuring 20mm up front and 15mm in the rear to push the stock wheels out. And then, an Airlift 3P setup to drop the whole thing on the ground.

Zero Gaps

With this done, he reports that he couldn't fit his finger between the fender liner and the tire. So we'd say that it turned out about as perfect as it possibly could.

Extra Style

To give the front end a little extra style, Nolan went with a set of custom daytime running lights, along with iJDMTOY LED turn signals and blacked-out tail reflectors for the rear.

Set It Off

To really set this IS apart from the pack, however, a little more work was necessary. And that came in the form of a complete NIA Auto Design body kit that really set off the car's new lowered stance.

Simple but Powerful

Simple things like a Cravenspeed license plate relocation kit and Weathertech license plate frame might not seem like much, but they only enhance the custom looks of this IS.

Read End Upgrade

Finally, Nolan went with a TRD-style spoiler and 2017+ Lexus OEM diffuser to truly transform the rear of this IS.

Not Done Yet

We're digging the way this IS turned out, but Nolan isn't quite finished with it yet. Future plans call for a wheel upgrade, tune, and Android infotainment upgrade. So be sure and head over here to stay tuned for what's to come!
