Achieving the perfect stance usually involves a ton of work. And that's certainly the case with this low-slung IS!

1. The Perfect Stance

Non-car folks don't really understand the amount of work that we enthusiasts put into our cars. Even if you drive something like, say, a mostly stock Lexus, getting that perfect stance involves a lot of work. Most would look at a car like Lexon's IS350 F Sport and simply think that the company tossed on some coilovers and new rolling stock. But as it turns out, they had to do a lot more than that to get this Lexus sedan hugging the ground.

2. Showing off Your Wares

Lexon has long built performance parts for circuit and drift cars, but changing consumer demand created an opening for them to move into the custom luxury car market. Today, they produce their own line of custom Lexus body parts, so it only makes sense that they would also build something to show off their fancy new products. Enter this IS, which sports both a Lexon front lip spoiler and side skirts.

3. Riding on Air

But in order to really attract attention to the car (and their products), Lexon knew they had to give this Lexus just the right stance. So they hooked up an Air Runner air suspension, hiding both the compressor and tank as well as the air lines for a clean look. The beauty of air ride is that it keeps the Lexus' pillow soft ride quality intact while also allowing them to drop it on the ground when it's time to show off.

4. How Low Can You Go?

Of course, choosing the proper rolling stock for a configuration like this is probably the most important step in the build process. After a lot of thought, Lexon went with a set of 20-inch Vossen VSF-1s. The deep-concave wheels look absolutely perfect here with just the right offset, which allows them to sit flush while driving around town. And, more importantly, tuck up under the fenders when the IS is lowered all the way down. A little bit of fender lip cutting was required, but now the Lexus rolls around without any rubbing, even when completely lowered.

5. Simplistic Perfection

Additional mods for this perfectly stanced Lexus also include a Lexon rear diffuser, which holds four custom titanium exhaust tips. Toss on a roof spoiler, and you've got a car that's simply outstanding despite its simplicity. After all, anybody can throw all sorts of parts and money at a car. But it takes a clear vision and an eye for beauty if you want to make something that truly stands out from the crowd.
