Just a Little Daring

It's no secret that we here at Club Lexus love the IS F, and we miss the departed performance sedan dearly. With a naturally-aspirated V8, handsome looks, and a balanced chassis, it's easy to see why. But while we've seen our fair share of modded IS Fs, we have never seen anything like this wild recreation from Japanese-based Lexon. Built as a demo car, the company needed something a little "more daring" than the stock IS F provided, according to Speed Hunters. We'd say they achieved that goal, and more.

Aggressive Luxury

To make this dream a reality, the folks at Lexon dialed up Mr. Widebody, Kei Miura. The goal? Give the Lexus Miura's signature over-body look, but while also retaining the look and feel of luxury that Lexon is known for. Doing so wasn't exactly a walk in the park, thanks to the IS F's complex curves. Miura had to figure out how to incorporate things like the front fender into the factory vent without it looking wonky, but he managed to do so seamlessly.

She's Got the Look

All of that bodywork would mean nothing if Lexon's IS F didn't carry the right stance, of course. So this performance sedan now rides on an Air Runner air suspension. All of the components, including the compressors and tank, are hidden in the trunk for a clean and unobtrusive look. And, of course, the widebody kit isn't the only thing that makes this Lexus look like the business. Lexon Exclusive parts are everywhere on this ride, including a carbon fiber front lip spoiler and LED fog light inserts.

Matching Set

Of course, Lexon couldn't do this much work on the outside and ignore the inside of their demo Lexus. So a set of Edirb seats from Bride went in. Not only do these seats provide substantial grip to keep occupants in place, they're also trimmed in soft comfy leather with (also grippy) suede inserts. The rear seats are the real story here, however. Lexon had Edirb stitch them up to match the fronts, a unique touch you rarely see on custom cars these days.

Raw, yet Luxurious

Lexon also eschewed the VIP look for their stanced ride by going with a set of white 19-inch Work Emotion Kiwami wheels, which look pretty race inspired. Throw on a Sard carbon fiber wing, and a Lexon roof spoiler and rear diffuser, and you've got a pretty mean looking ride. To make sure the IS F could match those looks with performance, Lexon gave the Lexus their own ECU flash to bring horsepower up to 450. A quad-tip GReddy exhaust gives it an equally aggressive sound. All fitting for a raw, yet luxurious ride that any Lexus fan would love to own!
