Forum Member's Killer LC Build Takes an Artisan Approach

In the Flesh

As you've likely seen just recently, Artisan Spirits is selling some pretty killer body kits and performance parts for the Lexus LC. But while we've seen plenty of promotional photos of Lexus' halo coupe wearing this fancy new bodywork, we hadn't seen one in the flesh. Until now, that is, because Club Lexus member bman2723 recently applied the killer kit to his own LC. 

Not Finished

Personally, we think the kit looks absolutely killer just the way it is. But it's pretty clear bman2723 isn't finished with his build just yet.

Complete Kit

"I'm currently speaking to Artisan about completing the kit with the GT fenders, Voltex spoiler, and some wheels," he admits. And before any of that arrives, he also receives a set of RSR coilovers.

Special Kit

The latter of which are actually not easy to get, apparently. "These are not listed on any website. You will need to special order them from RSR Japan. Contact RSR USA and tell them you want to get the set ordered. They also have another, more expensive set if you plan on tracking your car. The only catch is that they are not refundable once ordered."

Watch Out

Next, bman2723 receives a Beat Sonic front camera and Thinkware two-channel front and rear dash camera to install. Which is probably a pretty good idea if he wants to keep that precious new bodywork in pristine condition!

Ready to Ship

Soon, bman2723 gets a few pics from Japan showing his fenders ready to ship, and they look awesome just sitting there wrapped in plastic.

Special Order

Bman2723 also reveals that he's ordered a carbon fiber spoiler, which is apparently all he could get at the moment. Even though he admittedly wanted a white one to match the rest of the car.

Subtle Choice

Bman2723 also chose to stick with a set of Artisan Corart 45 wheels (shown above) finished in a light silver color. They're a little subtle compared to the rest of the kit, but we think they'll look great on the LC.

Being Cautious

Soon, the pair of cameras were installed and ready to go. Both are barely noticeable, yet should provide quite the upgrade and give bman2723 a little protection in case somebody damages his ride.
