1. CT200h F-Sport

There are two stars to this story: Raidin and his partner in crime, the 2014 Lexus CT200h F-Sport. It takes a certain type of quality to allow a determined man to drive over 300,000 miles in just three years, and if there is any car that offers that, it's the long-lasting Japanese machine: the Lexus CT200h. The CT was introduced in 2011, just three years before Raidin's 2014 CT, and his specific model was complemented with quite the makeover.

2. 2014 Lexus CT200h

For the 2014 models, the CT200h received Lexus' famous spindle grille, as well as numerous other upgrades, like the larger roof spoiler for the F-Sport model, and the dark-finished 17-inch alloy wheels. The headlights feature LED bulbs.

3. Luxurious & Sporty Interior

Raidin comfortably spend a great deal of time in his CT thanks to its beautifully designed interior. The cabin features fitting bucket seats, eight-inch LCD screen, and simulated leather, which is 60% lighter than real leather. In the driver's seat, Raidin beheld some of Lexus' best gauges, which are brightly lit and offer a mixture of elegance and sportiness.

4. Engine and Performance

It is no secret the CT200h has an extremely reliable engine; just ask Raidin. The 2014 Lexus CT200h is equipped with an in-line 4 Atkinson-Cycle 1.8-liter engine with aluminum block and head. The dual cam, four valve per cylinder engine works collaboratively with a high output electric motor with EV mode, which together develop 134-horsepower, allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 9.8 seconds. The hybrid gets 43 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway, which explains how Raidin was able to afford all of these miles.

5. Tires, tires, tires

Throughout a 317,000 mile journey in the CT200h, Raidin had to go through a few sets of tires, four to be specific, and he kindly shared his experiences with each set of tires.

For the first 66,173 of his CT's life, Raidin had the stock Michelins Primacy MXM4, which he described as good tires with nothing special to offer other than good fuel consumption.

For the 84,128 miles after, he used Bridgestone Ecopia EP422, and he believes they were the best tires for fuel economy, reaching up to 52 mpg with them; however, they are louder than most tires he has used. ($548)

For the next 102,368 miles, he tried the Pirelli Cinturato P7, which are quiet and comfortable, but otherwise unremarkable. ($592)

Raidin then tried the Continental TrueContact, and after putting more than 66,235 miles on them, he has nothing special to report about them, except the fact that they are still going. ($504)

Raidin currently has 317k miles on his 2014 Lexus CT200h F-Sport, proving that Lexus is by far one of the most reliable and durable vehicles on the market today.
