Flashback Friday: CL Forum Members Show Off Their IS Fs

The IS F was an amazing car that we hope Lexus resurrects at some point soon. Until then let's shine a light on our forum members who own these great machines.

hanscj's 2008 IS F

We're suckers for both the Lexus IS F and cool photography, which makes hanscj and his '08 a perfect choice to shine some light on. The blue ride might be his daily driver, but that doesn't mean he left it stock, either. The IS F has been treated to a host of goodies, including a resonator and secondary cat delete, BC Racing coils, 20" Matte Graphite Vossen CV3 wheels, a full Arkym body kit, Joe-Z PTS Catback exhaust, and an F-Sport Rear Sway Bar.

I8ABMR's 2007 IS F

I8ABMR and his IS F are no strangers to the forum or to local race tracks. You see, the longtime member doesn't just keep his prized daily in the garage, out of harm's way. He tracks it on a regular basis. To date, he's taken turns at ten different circuits in three different states, for a total of 24 outings. Better still, he likes to share pictures and video of his track time, too.

Justind27's 2008 IS F

We're admittedly fans of blue IS-Fs, but it's hard to argue with the gorgeous silver on Justind27's '08, either. Especially when it's beautifully contrasted by a set of black Volk GT7s. Other mods include custom n20/AOS/intake scoops, subframe braces, PTS exhaust, and a laundry list of parts from Rays, CWEST, DSS, Momo, Works bell, OS Giken, AFE, Stoptech, FIGS, Braille, ARK, Corbeau, SPC, and JIC Magic.

ISF4life's 2008 IS F

ISF4life's killer '08 IS F sits comfortably on Wedssport SA55M wheels and Yokohama 19" tires thanks to a JIC Coilover kit. You'll also find an F Sport rear sway bar and Cusco front brace to help stiffen things up a bit. A little bit of extra power comes from the Joez exhaust and intake, along with headers from Sikky. Obviously, most of the mods are on the outside, however. A full TOM's carbon body kit and 3M roof wrap are the highlights of one of the more unique IS Fs we've seen in a while.

MYISF's 2009 IS F

MYISF's clean '09 IS F is long gone, replaced with a 2015 RC F. But that doesn't mean we can't admire the ride he lovingly referred to as "Matador." From what we can tell, a simple wheel swap and some coils are all that's been done to the car, but that's clearly enough to get it looking just right.

MileHIFcar's 2010 IS F

As we've already mentioned, we're suckers for pretty much any blue IS F. And it's safe to say that MileHIFcar's 2010 is one of the finer examples around. The car sits just right thanks to a set of Swift Springs, which plant it directly on top of some sweet looking VMR V803 wheels. To make it go faster, an RR tune and intake join forces with PPE coated headers, Borla Exhaust, and an HPS intake elbow. In essence, it's exactly what we're looking for in a modded IS F.

QCisf's 2008 IS F

The beauty of QCisf's '08 IS F isn't just the car itself. It's the fact that he documented the entire build process here at Club Lexus. It only took around 9 months to take his formerly stock ride to new heights, literally. Mainly because the car sits low on a set of Tein H-Tech lowering springs, which nestles it on top of 19" Velgen VMB5 matte gunmetal wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 rubber. No part of the impressive IS F went untouched, from the suspension to the engine to the interior and exterior. The result? One sinister looking (and performing) Lexus.
