They expect the best, but don’t go around demanding things; people just intuitively sense their good taste and go above and beyond to satisfy it. If you find people slowing down to let you merge, giving up their parking spaces, or herding shopping carts out of your way in the parking lot, you are living the Lexus life. Some of these perks require registering on the Lexus website, or RSVP-ing beforehand, but a lot just require you to show your key fob.

1. VIP Treatment at Sporting Events

Certain sports teams, The Cleveland Cavaliers, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, etc., have Lexus VIP areas inside their stadiums, sometimes just sponsored by Lexus, but sometimes open to all Lexus owners. Some of them even provide you with priority parking spots right up close to the gate. Check with your local arena or stadium for more information.

2. Lexus Premier Parking

Besides the sporting venues, certain shopping malls and performance arts centers also offer Lexus Premier parking lots and garages right up front for you. Some places even have valet service. You can enjoy yourself knowing that no one is going to ding your door or mess up your paint while you are there. Yes, that is a Tundra at parked at the Petco field Lexus lot, but it wasn’t a game day.

3. Free Car Washes

Now sure, you have to pay for service at the dealer, or have one of your free scheduled maintenance appointments, but the professional quality wash and wax afterwards are 100% free. This isn’t some school fundraiser wipe down with a bucket full or dirty water either. These are typically the same people who wash the dealership’s new cars to make them more presentable. When you leave a Lexus dealer after service, your car is going to look as good as the day you bought it.

4. Launch Parties

We all see the new cars in the magazines and online, but many Lexus dealers are in the habit of throwing swanky launch parties when a new model like the RC-F or IS-F come out. Typically, current owners are invited to the showroom after hours and there are DJs, drinks, catered hors d'oeuvres, and plenty of the new model to crawl all over and sit in. It’s like your own private VIP car show.

5. VIP Treatment at Alicia Keys Concerts

Maybe this doesn’t deserve its own entry? But, unlike at the Hippodrome or Tampa Performing Arts Center, this perk tours the country, so it may come to you. Because of the sponsorship of her concert tours, Lexus owners have in the past gotten special VIP valet parking at Alicia Keys events, plus passes to a lounge with an open bar and snacks. Some lucky folks, at select events, even got to meet her.

6. Resort Upgrades/Freebies

Most places will give you free breakfast and “credits,” but through a special relationship with select resorts Lexus owners can get free 4-course dinners, spa day passes, free bottles of wine, boat tours, and more at some really nice places. Most of them also give you a discount, room upgrade, $100 food and beverage credit, or all three. Of course, if you own a Lexus you are already doing okay when it comes to finances, but isn’t being smart about your money part of the reason you bought a Lexus in the first place?

7. Private Wine Tastings and Tours

Knowing that Lexus drivers are all people of exceptional good taste, 51 different California wineries offer them special perks. Register via the Lexus website, and make an appointment for private tastings, tours, meetings with the owner and vintner, or other special treatment in the California wine country.

8. Free Champagne, Dessert or Amuse Bouche

Dine at one of the fine restaurants that have a special relationship with Lexus and not only do you get priority reservations and special treatment, but complimentary treats as well. These are not the type of places you expect to be giving away discounts or deals; we aren’t talking Applebee’s or Cracker Barrel. These are the sorts of chef-driven, hard to get into places you read about in travel magazines.

9. Fiji Water Discount

Everyone knows that Fiji water is the Lexus of bottled waters. So, when they teamed up to give you almost half off home delivery it was a match made in heaven. Rumor has it that the 700ml bottle was actually developed jointly to allow the square Fiji bottle to fit in the round Lexus cup holders. Details on this one are at the Lexus site here.
