8 Stunning Lexus Builds

Lexus cars really lend themselves to the modified/tuner crowd - here are some of the best examples we've seen.

Not much is known about this Lexus RC with a NIA Auto Design body kit, but the color is stunning!
This Lexus GS 350F has a Lexon body kit and a serious VIP stance.
Featuring a body kit in a cool shade of blue and a serious power upgrade, this Lexus IS 300 represents the best of the import tuner crowd.
The gloss charcoal vinyl body wrap, body kit, and stanced wheels give this Lexus IS F a real street presence.
The Lexus LS 460 was made for VIP treatment and looks stunning with its bodykit and wheels.
The black and gold is classic and really gives this Lexus a purposefully sinister look.
The Wald body kit and wheels on this Lexus LS 500 makes a subtle yet undeniably cool statement, making me wish the LS came from the factory this way.
The wildest thing about this Lexus RC F isn't the wild Pandem body kit but the stunning chameleon like vinyl body wrap.

2017 Lexus RC NIA Auto Design

This Lexus RC has shown up in different places including the ClubLexus forum. The body kit is by NIA Auto Design and includes a new front splitter, side skirts, and rear wing. The RC was spotted at Tuner Evo in Miami a few years ago but has since dropped out of sight. That's too bad because the teal color is absolutely stunning and makes me wish Lexus offered that color on their cars.

Lexon Lexus GS 350F

Modified VIP sedans are hot. Take a sedan like the Lexus GS 350, stance it, add a subtle body kit, and you've got one sweet ride. This Lexus was modified with a Lexon Exclusive Under Spoiler Kit which adds a front lip spoiler, side splitters, and a rear under-diffuser. Lexon produces some of the most elegant race-style spoiler and splitter add-on kits for Lexus vehicles. Made in Japan, these kits are among the best at subtlety modifying the look of a Lexus sedan.

2003 Modified Lexus IS 300

The original IS 300 has quite the cult following. It was one of the first cars to sport clear taillights and has a unique chronometer-style instrument cluster. It also makes a great tuner car as this Laguna Seca Blue example shows. A Chargespeed Japan front lip, side skirts, fenders, and hood give the car a nice tuner look that's not overly flashy. But underneath the skin it's a wild animal. HKS Hipermax II front and rear coilovers stiffen the ride with the help of TRD sway bars and bushings. And the 2JZGTE inline-six produces 748 horsepower with the help of an HKS T51R KAI turbocharger.

SoCal 2008 Lexus IS F

Wraps have come into their own in recent years, being a great way to customize the look of a car without repainting it. Better still, if you get bored with the color, it's easy to switch back to the original paint or go with another color wrap. This 2008 Lexus IS F sports a gloss charcoal metallic wrap that really comes alive in different lights and is accented by a mild body kit and stanced wheels. Originally Starfile Pearl the car was owned by Terry Ly who goes by SoCal ISF on social media.

VIP Style Lexus LS 460

If there ever was a platform for VIP style, it's the Lexus LS. This LS 460 includes a tasteful body kit with nicely stanced wheels that fill out the fenders. It's a well-executed tuner project that looks the business without being over the top. And with 420 horsepower under the hood, it has the power to back up its looks. Some people may not like the VIP look, but it really complements this generation of LS.

Lexus RC 350

Some people don't know what to make of the Lexus RC. Others dismiss it as a heavy Japanese Mustang. Internally, Lexus seems to have the same problem because the current RC's styling looks like they wanted to go big on aggressive style but held back. Fortunately, it's a great starting point for a truly wild tuner car, as this example shows. The black with stanced gold rims is a modern twist on a classic look. And while the massive rear wing may not be for everyone, it complements the look of this car.

Wald Lexus LS 500

If the stanced VIP look is too much, check out this Wald Lexus LS 500. In my opinion, this is how an LS should look. The Wald kit includes a revised front bumper, flared fenders, side skirts, and a revised rear end with lower valance and a small spoiler. Finally, 22-inch Wald wheels complete the look. Wald brands itself as the fashion leader of the automotive tuner world and has outfitted cars for athletes, entertainers, and entrepreneurs.

Lexus RC F with Pandem Body Kit

"I'd planned to slowly modify it," said Dana Balthasar. But after customizing this Lexus RC-F with a Pandem body kit, there was no turning back. 20-inch wheels from Work Week Japan filled out the flared fenders. But it's the vinyl wrap that really makes this car stand out. It changes color so quickly and completely from yellow-orange-purple-green-teal-blue it's like a chameleon.
