7 Stories of Abandoned Lexuses

1. Stolen, Crashed and Abandoned

This Lexus SC400 was stolen and crashed on a highway in Tyler, Washington. The troopers got a report of an abandoned car and found the green Lexus crashed into a fallen tree. The suspect was found trying to hitchhike near a highway exit. The suspect was under the influence when arrested.

2. Day at the Beach

This Lexus was left in the sand in San Diego's South Mission Beach and was discovered at 3 A.M. The theory is the driver left it after he/she couldn't drive it out of the sand. The car wasn't claimed but it was gone when the sun came up.

3. Impounded by DRI

The parking lot of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in India is the home of at least 20 luxury cars. Economic offenses by the owners landed these cars, including the Lexus, in permanent jail, gathering dust and nature's dirt. The Lexus LX is said to belong to actor duo Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan.

4. Left in the Lurch

Noticed in 2011, this Lexus has not been claimed and left for the environment as well as looters to take hold. In a neighborhood consisting of IAS officers, businessmen, and politicians, everyone assumed it belonged to a neighbor. Many have claimed ownership but have not presented the proper documents. It now sits on the side of the road with missing tires, steering wheel, and the emblem.

5. Dusty in a Garage

Garage finds are so common, you could probably walk around your garage and find some jewels. One person found a pristine C4, an interior stripped Contour and an untouched Lexus IS 300, among much more. This IS has yet to be moved and very much looks abandoned.

6. The Big Mystery

Found by YouTube user Jakeman21642, this Lexus was found in a poor condition. Suspecting it is a Lexus SC300, this car was left with an unfinished body paint. There is certainly a mystery to who left this Lexus, but the owner had 30 days to claim it. The car has been taken, but by who is the conundrum.

7. Show Cars in a Junkyard

These Lexuses were shown in the 2009 and 2010 SEMA for Fox Marketing but ended up in a junkyard. Both these stripped up IS-F and IS350C were registered as car shows and don't have VIN numbers. Since they are not legally allowed to be sold, these two Lexuses were crushed.
