7 Features of the 2017 Lexus RX
1. Performance
The 2017 Lexus RX is sportier-looking and more efficient than ever, with its 3.5-liter V6 engine and dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence system (VVT-iW) that both reduces emissions and enhances fuel efficiency. The RX's eight-speed automatic transmission, paired with its Adaptive Variable Suspension and Drive Mode Select features, make it an extremely precise performance SUV. AVS allows the driver to adjust shock absorber settings at the turn of a dial, while Drive Mode Select optimizes the level of responsiveness desired.

2. Voice Command
One of the most convenient things about the technology within the RX has got to be the advance voice command capabilities. If you simply say, "It's too hot in here," for example, the climate control will lower itself in response without you having to touch the controls. This tech also works with the navigation, audio, and Bluetooth calling system.

3. Rear Entertainment
Two LCD screens fit perfectly in the front headrests for perfect passenger viewing. What's better, each rear-seat passenger can watch whatever they want, and long gone are the days of only being able to watch one movie or TV show at a time. 4. Smart Airbags
Even the airbag safety system in the new Lexus RX is designed to be more efficient. The front passenger seat can detect whether an adult or a child is sitting in the seat; if no child or passenger is sitting there, the front, side, and knee airbags for that seat will not be deployed upon collision. If the front passenger airbag does deploy, it was designed with an indentation in the middle to provide more protection.

5. Triple-Beam LED Headlights
At this point, do you expect the headlights to be anything less than amazingly efficient, too? As an individual option, you can get the headlamps designed as three separate projectors, outlined on the bottom by a beautiful L-shape line of illumination. The turn signals are also LED's, of course.

Included in the Luxury and Premium packages, the RX's Electrochromic outer mirrors are designed to automatically dim when they detect a bright glare from lights coming from behind the car.
