1. Matt Farah's Million Mile Lexus

Most fans of all things automotive are familiar with Matt Farah, host of shows like The Smoking Tire and Drive. What you may not know about Matt is that he adores the Lexus LS400, and that he purchased one with an incredible 897,000 verified miles on the odometer.  Matt is currently working on joining the million mile club in his LS, a car in which every single accessory still works.

2. Lloyd Laycook's 555,000-mile LS

Lloyd Laycook purchased his LS in 1989, which also happened to be the first year that Lexus sold cars in the United States.  He proceeded to drive the car (a lot) for work as well as during political campaigns and on vacations.  Those miles racked up fast, and before he knew it, he had 555,000 of them on the odometer.  Lloyd has zero plans to retire from his work, or from driving his beloved LS.

3. Tom and Ruth Bushaw's 332,000-mile 1990 LS

Tom and Ruth Bushaw are sticklers for proper car maintenance. They just happened to buy the right car as well, and it's paid off.  They've racked up 332,000 miles on their 1990 LS, a feat that got them featured in Consumer Reports. The car has has served them well over the years, seeing most of its miles rack up thanks to a 70-mile commute to and from work.

4. 348,000 Miles on a 1990 LS

This 1990 Lexus LS popped up for sale over in Finland, and it's still going strong despite the fact that it isn't quite as pretty as our other examples.  But hey, it's got the perfect vanity plate, and that has to count for something.  The shoddy interior at least nets you a discount, as this LS was selling for $2,700 three years ago.

5. 333,333-mile LS Recognized by Lexus

High mileage Lexus vehicles are so common that Lexus itself celebrates these "High Mileage Heroes" on their Facebook page.  There are a lot of them represented, but this 1990 LS400 really stands out with a very exact 333,333 miles on the clock.  According to the owner, it still runs perfect and has been serviced by the same dealer since day one.
