1. Lexus IS F

The original Lexus F car dropped in 2007, giving fans of the brand an exciting new choice in the compact sports luxury segment. Powered by a 5.0-liter, 416 hp V8 engine, the IS F offered a comfortable and reliable alternative to established cars like the BMW M3. It might not be the fastest of the bunch, but the IS F has a ton of endearing qualities that keep enthusiasts flocking to it, even after the car's demise in 2014. If nothing else, the IS F kicked off what would become an entire line of exciting Lexus performance vehicles.

2. Lexus LFA

The LFA isn't just the greatest "F" car ever built - it's one of the greatest cars ever produced, period. After many years of development, Lexus truly dropped a bombshell on the automotive world when it rolled out this V10 powered, high revving piece of precision machinery. Only 500 were produced across one model year, and the car's original price tag of $375,000 was rather steep. But anyone who's ever driven the LFA would agree that it's worth every single penny.

3. Lexus RC F

The RC F is an interesting car, competing in a tiny segment of high-performance luxury coupes with the likes of the BMW M4 and Audi S5. But like most Lexus offerings, the RC F is very much different from its competition. For one, it's a more comfortable daily driver than the likes of the BMW. And unlike the competition, the Lexus coupe sticks to its roots with a naturally aspirated, 5.0 liter V8 producing 467 hp. The RC F is a fun to drive, comfortable, and stylish ride. And for that, we love it.

4. Lexus GS F

A lot of folks have already given up on Lexus' mid-size sedan, and that's a real shame. Because the GS F is one of our all-time favorite Lexus vehicles, bar none. Packing the same 5.0 liter, 467 hp V8 as the RC F, it's an old school muscle car with an undeniably lovely exhaust note. The chassis is well-balanced and comfy, with excellent driving dynamics that make the GS F a truly fun car to drive. It's quite simply one of the more underrated cars on the road today.

5. Lexus IS350 F-Sport

It's a real shame that you can't go to the dealership and buy a new IS F anymore, but Lexus does stock the next best thing - the IS350 F-Sport. No, it doesn't pack a snarling V8 under the hood, sadly. You instead have to "settle" for a 311 hp (for 2018) 3.5 liter V6 that mirrors the offering in the regular IS 350. But you do get a car that looks rather aggressive, with a nice set of wheels and revised bodywork. You also get a sportier interior, with the super cool sliding digital tach we first saw in the LFA. And the IS 350 F-Sport uses a suspension that offers tight handling and a smooth ride in one package. It's enough to almost make us forget about the IS F. Almost.
