Seen largely as a car for younger drivers, this highly rated car shows up as a top contender across demographics thanks to few reported problems and high ratings among owners and safety institutions alike. As of 2015, the Scion improved to 121 reported problems per 100 vehicles. This represents a 13 percent drop in reported problems since the previous year, making the Scion one of the most reliable vehicles on the market today.

Power's Vehicle Dependability Study, the GX was rated #1 in its class, beating out strong competition from other Lexus SUVs and competitor brands. Added safety features include whiplash-reducing active headrests and an impressive 10 airbags. The safety options on the GX are equally top-notch. Choose from a Driver Monitoring System, lane departure warning system, and Safety Connection, a subscription-based telematics system.
