Immobilizer "unset" value means no key in ignition cylinder (false as the key is in there. Key switch "on" means no key in ignition cylinder (false as the key is in there)

Wow Mitchell sure cuts to the chase. Scan tool the coil status. If OK: Normal then Replace Transponder key ECU assembly. I think Lexus would want to test the immobilizer connector at the ecu and at the harness and from the harness to the ECM.

I can understand the meaning of Antenna coil status "Normal" or Transponder M-code / S-code as i have 3 Master keys and 1 Sub key. What is cryptic is immobilizer "unset" meaning. Went searching on internet for 2004 RX330 immobilizer reset and found this procedure. Same as what other article said to do so it has been used before to repair a start and cut out condition. Didnt work for me.

Juat putting this out there as it might help someone else. This person had a start and stall and an encounter with Lexus gave a repair. It did not work for me but maybe it will help someone else.

All ecu's accouted for. Immobilizer ecu at top right with no asterisk & not yellow colored. There is an asterisk at AFS ecu but that is expected since it doesn't have adaptive front headlights system

Under Engine live DTC there is "current" B2799 "immobilizer system malfunction" That looks bad cause its "current"

Live data hard to understand "unset" immobilizer meaning. Or "OK" permit start. So it should start.

Immobilizer live data screen however I'm not sure how to decipher. It says immobilizer "unset" so is that bad? Then it says Permit (start) "OK"... meaning immobilizer is OK?

Got 2 DTC's for immobilizer systems, but they are in "history" and are not "current" or "pending". B2796, B2798. After 1/2hr, the dtc's disappeared. I reconnected techstream and only B2796 showed up on 2nd time.
