The immobilizer ECU data list shows correct values that are within specifications. These data values have been consistently the same with the original "old" immo ECU as well as with replacement "used" immo ECU (after eeprom chip swap). I believe both immo ECU's are not the cause of my problem.

The immobilizer ECU shows no fault codes. All 3 keys work normally as in the red LED security light on the dash will stop blinking when key is inserted & blink when key is removed.

I was able to use Techstream's VIN utility to successfully replace the VIN# of the donor car to my current VIN#.

The Good news! No more having to manually select Year, Make, Model, VIn# on this screen. Appears this ECM has a functioning module that automatically relays this data into Techstream.

Installed replacement "used" ECM with battery disconnected. Installed jumper between DLC pin 4/13 & let the dash blink for 1hr, turned off key, removed key from ignition, removed 4/13 jumper, inserted key and tried starting. Cranks, starts, cuts out after 1 sec., tried 2 more times but same. B2799 code is active in ECM. Cleared code but it comes back right away.

Just this B2799 code that wont go away even when erasing code it comes right back. All 3 orginal factory keys work. Security light goes out when any key inserted and security light blinks when key removed

This is AllData. Mine is unset right now but unset means without key and set means Igniton switch on. This is the same as what is on Mitchell. Im trying to see what a running RX will show for this data list. Thanks!

Immo box data stream. At the bottom there is zero DTC's. Going thru the data the immo is "UNSET" which is good. SET would mean security is actively preventing start up. Also permit start shows "OK". B+ shows "OK". Antenna coil status is "OK". Keys programmed shows 3 which is correct. All looks good as far so why the B2799 code

89780-0E010 immo box is the original box that came with the vehicle as brand new. This board was easy to slide out of the black case so you can see the board by iteself. The 89780-48021 newer board is glued into the black case so i had to split the case.

89780-48021 immo box looks very similar to the other immo box. The eeprom chips are both 93LC66A I/SN. Only difference i can see is at the bottom left of the board. It has a little extra component on bottom left.
