Now, to save yourself some trouble from having to solder more wires on the connector, I used one of the 10mm M6 bolts on the roof as a ground. Solder / crimp a ring terminal onto the 5v converter and put it over the bolt - done! Now, you need to velcro or double stick tape the converter down in an area where the console will not contact it when it’s back in place.
