This may be against the rules to post about her but Kayla was a very special car, she was my first Ls 400 and is sorely missed and shouldn't be forgotton, she was my pride and joy for almost 8 years, she was more than just a car, she was like a friend. She was a rare one, very early production number build 9/89, number 00000136. Yeah I remember her vin number by heart :( she had all the good stuff too, air suspension nakimichi stereo and others as well, but what really mattered was that she was REALLY FAST!! I rebuilt her twice in the time I had her and knew every inch of that car. Pearl white with black leather, and gold plated badges, she even had the funky old cellphone in the center console. She lasted me till 395,995 miles when the tranny, the steering rack, and the alternator all went at once, and in a cold sad twist of fate, I had to scrap her in August of 08, and when I did It truly broke my heart. You know how some cars just have a draw to them? Everyone that sees or touches it wants it? That was Kayla. She was one of those cars, and given her age and rare early production numbers and options, I doubt ill ever find another one :( there's alot more to her story, but ill leave that in the threads.
