you have a sidewall impact break. Likely from hitting a bump or pothole on the street. It is unsafe and the tire needs to be replaced. This is why im downsizing to 19" wheels

chinewalk hit it right on the money. The threads inside your tire keeping it in place has broken. You have either hit a pothole, a harsh bump, or you let the tires run flat. It happens (in my case, the dealer let the tire run flat and rode on it, causing the same issue you claimed).

Extremely unsafe, so get it fixed asap.

definitely get its fixed. Happen to me and I didn't think much of it. One day as i was exiting to my house the tire popped out of no where. Likely i was only about a mile away from home and in the neighbor so i was able to drive very slow.

I'm fortunate that I know and predict all potholes bumps and stuff on the road, so I avoid'em as I drive to school everyday.

yea it sucks, happened to before with Falken 452's. Look on the bright side though, the pothole could have been worse and bent a rim.

I have the same size and tire brand, and I hit the pothole few times and my wheel's got bent, but no bubbles like your, I think Nitto would replace under warranty.

Air pressure and pure luck play into this.

I've seen wheels completely destroyed, with no damage done to the tire.

I've seen tires with impact breaks and no damage to the wheel...

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a tire with a stronger sidewall, they are all susceptible to this.
