These tires are pretty exclusive. I work at Americas Tire Co. and even I have to get approval from our corporate office to even buy these. I was just wondering, Is there some type of process the customer has to go through to get to these tires?

They used to not really let the public buy them...

When they first "came out" the deal was that Discount / America's Tire and possibly Tire Rack had product codes in the computer, and could "order them" with indefinite backorder times... This was so they could be used in competition...

This has since changed, and pretty much anyone can get them now directly through Kumho (if you are a reseller), or through Tire Rack...

I ran a Kumho promo here in San Antonio a couple years back when they first came out with them...

Tire Racks price is unbeatable and you can get them direct from the website.

I called my usual tire hook up and he could get them for like $300

So tire rack is the one to get them from.
