New Wheels or Spacers?

Ok so I got my vertex fenders in and, now i'm trying to figure out if i should do about my wheels situation. since the fenders are 25mm wider than stock should, I want to know what my best bet would be to go with. If i go with spacers what size should i get so i can push the wheels out evenly all the was around of should I just go ahead and get new wheels all the way around with a lower offset. Right now I'm running some CCW SP500 18x8.5F and 18x11R. Or possibly I could change out the front 2 wheels for something like a 9.5" on 10" wide. Just trying to figure out the better route to go.

Pics would help. Its always better to go with new wheels. But you can save alot of money getting the spacers instead of the new wheels. What offset r u running now?

Im running a 20mm spacer in the front and my rim offset is +26 with the spacer its +6. With stock pulled fenders my wheels stick out just a little and thats how i like it.

Another angle so you can see how much they a in now.

And as far as offset I don't know CCW never told me an offset, which was written on the wheels i just dont remember. I'm gonna email CCW and find out what it is.

SFFD,

<not to be a thread hijacker>

Do you have any issues with the spacers, from bump steering or anything else? What brand are they? Thanks.

No this is the second car that i have had spacers and nothing bad has ever happend. If you get a Hubcentric spacer its like having the offset of the rim be the same. Good wheel spacers sit flush with the hub and the wheel and should never cause problems. H&R wheels spacer on my M3 and I dont remember what brand is on the SC, but you cant go wrong with H&R.

As for the pictures it looks like if you ran a 20mm spacer in the front it would look real good, but what is the curent offset on the wheels in the front? R those the stock fenders in the pics? If so you might just want to pick up a new set of front wheels or get those redone.

Here are 2 shots of my car. The front offset is +26 with a 20mm spacer its +6. Stock fenders Rolled

SFFD, thanks for the info.

JAC, good luck with the setup it already looks good, so this should be pretty sweet. :thumbup:

If you got the dough, I am sure CCW would make you a new pair of front wheels if you told them you have an SC with Vertex fenders in the front. Obviously, the cheap alternative is to go with spacers, which will indeed work. But, new would would not only be better, but it could be pretty bad ass: CCW could fit you some sick front wheels.
