What size winter rims>>>17" or 18"???
Okay fellas.... I'm going to purchase some winter rims...I know its a little early but just want to be ready and anticipate a bad winter....Sooo What size would you recommend??? I was looking at 17" but they look a little small...ofcourse next to my 20's they would but what would be the best for better handling, traction, etc...etc...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! Danny:thumbup:   |
i believe the smaller the wheel the better..i recommend 17's. i am using the stock 16's for winter.

I vote 18s because of your drop.

You got a point D.....My drop is what scares me....I dunno if I should do 18" so that I could stay a little higher off the ground...if not then I'm gonna be a snow plow!!! I will still debate on this...I need more feedback!!!!

Agreed! The smaller the better......if you have a drop & larger wheels to 'fill in the wheel wells more' remember the snow will get quite packed in there while driving in a bad snow storm so you would actually be doing yourself a dis-service by putting larger winter wheels & tires because of steering, control & the like......it's the winter.....hardly a fashon statement time of year anyways. Stick with rolling stock winter rims & snow tires.
