2001 LS430 witth 18" wheels.
Looking to put some 18" or 19" wheels on my '01 LS430.
Does anybody have a picture of their LS430 with the L-Sportline M4 wheels? If so, could you please send it to me. Just want to see how the car looks like with these. Also, if someone had put Lowenhart wheels on their LS430, I would like to see that as well. So please, if it isn't too much trouble for you, please post an image. Also, your impression of how the ride changes. I currently have the optional 17" originals on the car, but want to go with the 18s or 19s. Thanks a lot |

Thanks a lot I know it's not the Lsportline M4 wheels, but it'll give you somewhat of an idea of how they'll look: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...0celsior-f.jpg Lowenhart LD5: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...wenhartLD5.jpg Lowenhart LD1: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...lowenharts.jpg |
those ld5s look great but where is the point where wheel diameter degrades the ride? 18, 19, bigger?

Thanks a lot BR1AN. My LS430 is silver. I think that the chrome is a bit too much. I probably go with silver finish to blend better with the car. Also, do you have any experience with Falken, Toyo, Nitto tires? I found a site that bundles the M4s with Falken. Was just wondering how the traction is on those in the rain, snow. I live in New York and planning to have these tires on year round. Thanks a lot for the info.

Thanks a lot The L-Sportline Model 4 single piece wheels are only availible in 18x8.5" chrome, the 18x7.5s will not fit your car. If you are interested in a set, send me an email (link below). Here is a picture of them https://www.clublexus.com/forums/att...&postid=360963 |
Thanks a lot for the pic. They look great as the matter of fact my car is the same color and I think they will look great even in silver finish. What size are the tires on the car in the pic do you know? Also, how durable are these M4 one piece rims? Thanks again.

I put a package together for someone with a LS last week, that's how I know about the availibility, per my sources, the M4 1pc 18x8.5 is not avail in silver, only chrome. Because of your car size and large caliper, you cannot use the 18x7.5 (which, btw is avail in silver)
The recommended tire size is 245/40-18 with the 18x8.5, I would imagine that is what's on this car. Let me know if you need anymore info on this wheel/tire package. The wheels should be plenty strong, especially with such a large aspect ratio (245/40) |
I was thinking more towards the 245/45/18 instead of 245/40/18. 45's a little thicker plus it'll leave less space between the fender and the rubber. I will send you an e-mail about the price for a wheel/tire pkg. Thanks for your help.

for 18s tirerack.com recommends 45 series tires in all their ls 430 packages.

After much time looking for 18" for my 99 LS400, I think M4 single piece would be the best choice with buget constraint. Otherwise, MIII would be better choice(?).
I'm ready to get a set of Lsportline M4 chrome for my car and later transfer it to my 01 LS430 when the manufacture warranty expired. I'm thinking of Lexus.com tire recommended size 245/45-18 and the wheels fitment 18x7.5 offset +45mm. I'm also thinking of aftermarket 04 LS430 rim which costs $1250 a set. Please comment. Thanks |

Thanks As information, you can not use a 18x7.5 wheel on your LS, the car is too large for such a narrow wheel. The 7.5" is intended for the IS and ES vehicles. A 7.5" wheel cannot support a 245/45 tire. |
silver of polished rims that fit
I sent an email to your site but if your mail server isnt working can you tell me here which rims you have that are 18 inches and are in silver or polished that DO fit the ls 430? actually since you are in worcester do you mind me coming up from springfield to see what you have?
