I was test fitting my wheels on my 06 ls430 and I cambered it way too much.. both of my half shafts popped out. While I pushed the car back into my garage, it kind of found it ways back into the case but still out about an inch or so, do any of yall know how I can fix this? Can I just push it back in? It look like I'm going to have to disconnect it from the hub and then hammer it in.. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I don't know, I don't have a way of messuring it. I just kept adjusting camber and traction til my wheel was centered, nice and flushed. I just wanted to see how aggressive it look before I take it to the bodyshop. My plan was to run around -3/4 and get bodywork done.

if it is on stock arms i think the most you can get is like -3.5 on the LS430 with it slammed, or at least that is what i was at.

I have all three megan rear arms; lca, traction and toe. I think I just cambered it too much.

that pic above looks sweet and is definitely pushing higher than -3-4 camber. just eyeballing it seems more like -7

it has to be more then -7.. I don't think my axles would have came out if I was running -7/-8

I was able to hammer this part in and it sits flush now.. but when I move the axles in and out.. the circle part moves in and out a bit too.. not much, even if i put ton of pressure on it.. I'm a little worried, isn't that part supposed to sit flush and not move at all?

i was going to say like -9 but couldn't tell if the camera was just tilted a little and made it look like a lot more camber than it really was. i like it where it sits in that pic, hope you can get it to be able to handle that much.

what are you trying to have it at ideally?

Ideally it's perfect where it is now, but I don't know a work around the whole axles thing.. hopefully some knowledgeable person with that much camber can chime in... so maybe I'm gonna have to add +3 or +4 positive camber more..

did you ask this on VSC at all? i know for a while there was a much more active vip community there, although lately it too is getting a little quiet.


also have you pulled your rear fenders at all? i was only able to get about 5-6 mm of a pull out of mine with the help of a friend who actually knew what he was doing. but neither one of us wanted to pull too hard on the fenders so yeah that was about all i got. reason i was saying is cuz if you pull them out a little maybe dial the camber back 2 or 3 and it would be a good safe setting.

yea its cut, shaved and pulled as much as I can.. was afraid to do more.. it felt like it was ready to give in lol..

I don't know if you got this fixed yet. But from the pic I would say your looking at about -9 to -10. Was this the height you were rolling on when it happened? I would say to bring it back out about +3 and see if you can roll on that without it popping out. If it doesn't pop out, stay with that and get your fender work done. It probably won't be the aggressive as you want bit its safe. If you wanna keep that camber, look at a machine shop to lengthen your CV shafts. Good luck brotha.
