midsize econo sedans have already pulled off vip better than 90% of the u.s. (see malaysia, thailand, etc.). if it can sit next to a traditional platform and not look out of place then it's vip in my book. will it ever actually happen? i doubt it.

Look is the keyword here.
VIP look (style) is very different than a VIP car. You clearly don't understand where the words "VIP platform" come from.
This isn't an opinion, it's fact. VIP cars are VIP cars. Everything else is inspired or in the style of. I don't care if you think you can take a sports sedan and turn it into a "vip car" you can't, you can mod it like it was a VIP car. But it's still a sports sedan.
So I guess your right, but seeing as how it's your book, I guess you wrote the book on VIP cars and know everything about them... right? I ripped a few pages out of the bible and wrote my name on them. Therefore, I am a Religion.

An automatic big body sports sedan....
I guess you could consider it a "sports sedan" but I could consider my Z a viper... doesn't make it a bad *** V10

That middle shot reminds me of burn notice lol. Yeah def gonna need to have some more consistency within the styling to make it more V.I.P, maybe some 19's with a more aggressive offset instead of 20's but you are like 90% there already. It looks really good.
