Arizona Locals Make It Into Japanese VIPCAR Magazine! *Pics Inside*
Thanks to Jin @ Kyoei USA in Tempe, Arizona for contacting the publishers at VIPCAR Magazine and getting a 3 page feature about our trip last November from Arizona to Las Vegas to San Diego and back to Az. Our 4 day trip started at 6:00am Thursday November 5th where we drove the Kyoei USA project car LS400 slammed on 20" Work D3S and Kareem's (KNEXX on here) GS300 dumped on 20" Maya's to Vegas for SEMA. That night we attended a VIP Meet with the Vegas locals and peeps from Cali. Saturday afternoon we drove from Vegas to San Diego for the VIP Festival @ AutoFashion on Sunday.
VIPCAR also asked us to get a few of the Az VIP guys together and take some pics with a nice mountain/desert type background. They don't have landscape like that over in Japan so they figured it would be a nice change to see in the magazine. We did a quick photoshoot at Papago Park here in Phoenix since it has more of a unique look to the rock formations.
I took all my camera gear and did my best to cover all the events and take as many pics as possible. VIPCAR picked what you see in the article out of hundreds of pics I took that weekend. So if you're car is in there, feel special lol!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it was a blast going on this trip and meeting all kinds of people. The Vegas locals and SoCal locals were very cool peeps to be around and we will be out again later this year with more cars for sure
Some scan's and pics from the March issue of VIPCAR:
VIPCAR even wanted a pic of the ugly photographer's face lol!!
