I'm not sure about the 3rd gen contact Zack at UAS ext 114 to verify he would know. I think that the 3rd gen doesnt have the same problem as the 2nd gen.

Bringing this back too life cause I'm bout to make the plunge. Gonna re-do my entire ride paint and all and want to go on air. Would like to know the longevity of Ksport cause that's the kit I would like to get but also have some questions. Can you ride low on this kit. Is it pretty much a plug and play. And can some one direct me to where I can get it the cheapest. As far as instal I do all my DIY's. Thanks in advance for all responses to this.

Tein are the only coilover that you can use the pre made brackets for other wise you have to hsave your coils modded to work with UAS. You can get a full UAS and accuair set up for a decent price pm if you have any questions

Beed riding on my kit since 2009

Can you ride low on this kit.
Yes you can. Long as you shorten the bags all the way. Also adding RCA's to your car helps a lot with riding with more pressure at a lower height.

Is it pretty much a plug and play.
Yes its a PNP kit. Install bags, run hoses to the rear, run power/accline to the rear, connect all the pluming and wiring, run controller wire to the front and youre gtg..

And can some one direct me to where I can get it the cheapest.
hit up the venders on the board.

As far as instal I do all my DIY's. Thanks in advance for all responses to this.

answers in bold.

A vendor told me the UAS kit comes with everything needed to mount the bags to my Megan EZ coils... Is this not true? He didn't mention any custom/fab work needed to make this happen

You are right, depends on the installer. If it is installed correctly, cup kit uses less parts which means less parts will be worn out.

how is it less parts? You gotta know what you talking about before you start hyping up certain thing over the other. Cup kits are good if you want to/can ride slammed all the time. For me a cup kit will never work as i would destroy my kit the first change of pavment i hit on the highway. With a cup kit you really cand drive aired up. Cup kit consist of just as many if not more parts then any air kit.
A simple air system for example
Uas bags
Coilovers- coilover springs
Lines/fitting
Switches
Tank
Compressor
manifold

what comes in a cup kit?
