Has anyone replaced the run flat tires?
I'm at 35k miles - hopefully will get another 20k before I have to replace them. Just wondering if anyone has replaced their original tires and if so with what?
I'm almost 100% sure I won't get run flats again. I want a softer, quieter ride than what Im experiencing now.

Apparently the facelift UX due into production August 2022 is fitted with a new Bridgestone run-flat tyre which is said to be quieter: https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/lexus/37299882.html
I absolutely despise the factory EL450s the UX came with, it doesn't do a good job here in Chicago, mainly in the slush/snow.
Once I hit time for replacement, I may opt for other RFTs such as Goodyear, or may opt out of RFTs all together and go with the Pirelli Cinturano P7s.
Currently at 30k now, so I suspect I don't even need new tires anytime soon (they still look pretty darn good, tire rotations done every 10k, though I do have a bit of a heavy foot at times).

I've not yet had a car fitted with run flat tyres. Do they really last as long as 50,000+ miles?
New UXs also sometimes are fitted with Dunlop run flat tyres which owners generally seem to think are quieter and provide a more comfortable ride than the Bridgestones which have been used to date on the UX.

I replaced my snow tires on my UHX with non-run flat winter tires. When it comes time to replace my runflat summer tires I will definitely go a different direction. I did that previously with my BMW non-run flats and the ride comfort and noise level drops significantly with non-run flat tires.
I recommend to everyone to change their Run Flat tires (any brand) with Michelin Crossclimate 2! I convinced my parents to try these Michelin on their RX and they love them. Furthermore, they have the first version of the Crossclimate…version 2 is supposed to be even better. They are as good for summer and winter. We know real winter in Quebec, Canada and they work great! No hassle to change tires every winter.
As soon we get our UX MY23, we’ll change the run flat right away!!
