Every time I get in my ux this message is displayed. I typically use CarPlay, so this message is completely irrelevant. Any way to remove this, and possibly default to the menu screen?

You can go to Menu>Setup>Customize Home Screen. You can change the layout to only 2 boxes if you want and also what you want to see in those boxes. No way to default to the menu screen.
