UX 250h fuel consumption
 

Averaging 39. Probably 70 percent highway at 75mph. Its a cvt so it runs down under 2k on highway. Only has 5k on it, not really broken it fully, should get to 40mpg by 10k miles.

I am steadily seeing 42-43 mpg on my commute in Normal mode, slightly more (1-2 mpg in ECO). I drive roughly 32 miles on interstate, 5 miles on secondary road on my commute. Once on Interstate, I set the cruise and do not touch brake or gas until I exit, unless necessary. I also use cruise on secondary roads as much as possible. Tire pressure is at 34 psi on all four corners.

I'm consistently received 43 mpg on a 35 mph, 4 mile drive to the gym. 28 Mile airport drive, 55 to 70 mph drive is a surprising 47 mpg. Blended average with less than 500 miles on my UX250H is 41 mpg. This is being driven in ECO mode, no passenger. When I have a passenger, and heavy rolling bag in the back well, I'm getting 38 to 40 mpg. Generally, the MPG is the real deal, impressed considering the vehicle is still very new and breaking in. Taking an 8 hour drive to Michigan in June and will know what the true MPG highway will be. Love the UX.

It's amazing and impressive the UX can get 40 mpg for being as tall and relatively heavy as it is. I have the CT200h F Sport which averages about the same. I get between 38-40 but I drive a bit on the aggressive side. On a long stretch highway trip from OC to LAX (about 100 miles round trip) i've gotten 53 mpg before. So it's possible to get really good mileage on a particular trip if you baby a hybrid. But overall mixed driving should be pretty consistent with what other people are getting.

I recall getting 50 MPG in the CT in city driving, keeping speeds below 45 mph. Highway, more like 43 MPG. In the city, the trick is to employ the pulse + glide technique to get the most out of a Toyota-based hybrid similar to the tricks E46CT has posted.

On the UX, I'm not getting nearly as good, about 36 MPG mixed city/hwy though in all fairness, I'm on 245/45/20 rubber and constantly with three people and cargo in the car. I also have a roof rack.

I can see getting in the low 40s MPG on a stock UXh with the driver only.

I’m consistently getting 41-42mpg at this point. My driving is probably 70% city and 30% highway driving. If I’m just driving around town I can get it up to 44mpg

hiya- since purchasing my ux 250h in november, i’ve consistently been getting 32-34mpg. mostly city driving; stopsigns, stoplights, traffic. i’m super confused because everyone is saying 38-41! i’m a solo driver and keep the windows closed, no roof rack.

Right now it's winter in Toronto and I'm averaging 6L/100km. I believe that's 39 MPG.This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that actually lives up to the manufacturer's fuel economy rating.
I find that best fuel economy is achieved if you're light on the throttle and let the car coast as much as you can. When you see that the car is in running in EV, be really gentle with the throttle. I also find that you only need the lightest pressure on the brakes, the regen braking system is pretty good at slowing the car down. Also when you enter a mall and are looking for parking put in EV mode and drive slowly. In short, you have to adjust how you normally drive and take advantage of the hybrid system to get the best fuel economy.

I’m getting about 38 MPH, driving 100 miles daily (95 miles are pure highway). Using cruise control really helps, before that I was getting about 34 MPG.

I am currently getting about 36 MPG in my UX250h. I drive about 50 miles a day and this is what I have been getting for the winter so far. In the warmer months, I was getting about 41 MPG with the same commute. It seems like the colder weather definitely has an effect on the MPG in the UX250h.

I’ve filled my UX four times so far and I’m happy with the stats...

I've been driving hybrid vehicles for at least 15 years and to say the UX hybrid is a disappointment is an understatement. I do all city driving and I can't get the mileage over 33 mpg. I know there is no comparison but that's a far cry from my Prius that averaged 50 mpg. On top of that Nalley Lexus is trying to say it's the way I drive. That is simply BS! To think I passed on the Audi Q3 because I wanted a crossover hybrid ... big mistake! This is vehicle is my first and last Lexus; I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

It's too bad it's not meeting your expectations. I too have owned several Lexus hybrids and lots of factors come in to play as you probably know.

My wife drives the UX, daily commute of 1 mile, and the fuel economy is terrible (in winter less than 30 mpgs). However, this is expected as the vehicle never reaches optimal operating temps and efficiencies. On longer city drives, we can hit the mid 35 MPGs these days in winter, while last summer we would get +- 40 MPG.

Give it a bit more time as temps warm up further. Make sure you drive long enough to maximize the efficiency. And employ the pulse and glide technique as it helps even with the UX.
