Default Knee buster

Iím still nursing my left knee after driving a right hand drive UX for 2 hours.

Who thought it would be a good idea to put a hard plastic edge half way up the lateral side of the middle console.

There is no padding. Every Lexus including the CT has this area padded. The UX only has rock hard plastic.

Something for for the mid cycle update.

UX build quality for interior is terrible. It looks cheaply made with plastic everywhere. Especially the temperature control buttons for climate control. I don't see why Lexus had to skimp out on such trivial things. Its not like the car is cheap and in that segment - mercedes and infiniti (who share the Qx30 platform) offer much better interior quality.

Simple solution: Switch to F Sport version. The console is well padded.

I didn't notice the difference in the interior padding, that's a nice touch.
