Default Cupholders - any improvements?

The cupholders are pretty poor on the TX. I like the modular design - that's cool - but the cupholders themselves allow way too much side to side movement of any normal sized drink (coffee cups, soda cans, etc.). I'm sure it fits the trendy stanley bottles nicely, but for everything else it leaves a lot to be desired.

Are there any aftermarket alternatives or fixes for these?

add a silicone cup sleeve to the bottom of whatever you're putting in the cup holder.

I do like that someone can just make a new one that clicks in. Hopefully that happens.

Having 3rd party designs for the cup holders could be nice depending on what they design. Also why did they not just give 2 more cup holders for the 3rd row seats? Rather take them out if not needed then relocate or need extra, For a 70K vehicle surprised its even a thing..

Got our 500h back in January and for a while, I always wondered the same. Until one day it clicked as I was taking the center console out of the 2nd row, since everyone just kept stepping over it, the removable cupholders from the 2nd row center console fit in the 3rd row cupholder space. It was perfect considering we ended up storing away that center console as we didn't need it.

Hopefully we get some 3rd party cup holders that can fit or maybe give us different uses? Will be interesting to see what aftermarket parts come out.
