Strasse Forged Wheels, quick question
Hi Guys,
First time starting a thread outside of the LS4604th gen board. I recently saw some Strasse Forged wheels on a BMW which I thought looked pretty nice. I was curious why it seems like only owners of the IS seem to buy them and why more GS and LS owners don't. I couldn't even find a thread in the 4th gen forum where some one mentions them.
Is it the style that keeps people away? The price of forged rims? Is it just a brand that isn't too well known?
It seems like a popular brand for BMW of all makes and models when I looked at some of their message boards. Just curious about Lexus.
Thanks!

Forged wheels are usually purchased with a purpose. We've had people buy a forged set strictly for track days or they want their performance car to be lighter; so it makes sense why the luxury class vehicles (GS/LS) don't bother with a set of forged wheels. If you're going strictly for looks, a cast wheel will get the job done and then some.
For example, our cast wheels are usually lighter than factory, so you might notice a slight difference in performance.
