Default Ok to mix Bridgestone tires? 2009 IS250

I bought a used 2009 IS 250 a little over a month ago. After my mechanic checked it out, his comments were that I would need brake pads in a few months and that the front tires weren't in as good of condition as the rear (and also that I picked a great car, so yay me).

After reading up on this forum and other places, I think I'm gonna go with Akebono brake pads, and the Bridgestone Pole Position S-04s.

Currently, I have the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports (I have OEM 18'' wheels, so 225 front, 255 back). Would it be a problem to get just two front tires now, so the S-04s in the front, and keep the RE760s in the rear? And get two S-04 rear tires in about 6 months or so? Or will I royally eff **** up.

I'm currently experiencing "tramlining" which is a new thing I just learned, when going under 50mph on surface streets. I haven't experienced it on the freeways, but LA roads aren't known to be the best. The slower I go the worse it is. I think this is due to the RE760 Sport tire, and the fact that they're coming to the end f their life. If I'm not right about what is causing the tramlining (it clearly follows bad grooves in the road, on smooth roads the wheels don't pull in either direction) - then please inform me. I'm still learning about all this stuff. Thanks in advance!
