It's going to be time for new front brake pads in the near future, so I figured I should start shopping now. Let me emphasize that this is for a street driven car, not an autocrosser or racer, so the top priority is a quick stop from cold when required.

Any reason to favor one of these over the other?

Wagner gets my vote. Had them and had no problems. Good stopping power, less dust and has long life.
