Default DO 10mm spacers require longer studs?

im thinkin of gettin some 10mm spacers but want to know if i need to put longer studs too? 10mm is a lil less than 1/2"..i kno most spacers u buy come with the longer studs..but if i dont have to use em then i rather not..so i can save on some labor..

also..if i HAD to change to longer studs..is it hard to do? thanks in advanced to whoever answers

yes you will need them. I wouldnt trust 10mm without them.

Go to 15mm and the studs r included. no worries there.

10mm would be a headache

yes you need longer studs. it's easy if you have access to an air tools. if you don't have the experience, it can be a challenging.

im runnin a 45mm offset in the rear on my 2ng gen gs300 (i kno..weak offset..jus temporary rims for now) i can fit a finger in between my tire and the fender lip..i think 10mm would push it out enough so that i dont have to shave or roll the rear..so i THINK 15mm would be too much and i would have to do work on my rears

If you're going with more aggressive wheels later, just mod your fenders and push it out with a bolt on 15mm spacer.

I meant bolt-on spacers with the studs built into them. Also known as wheel adapters. 10 mm would be a headache because you would have to replace the studs.

ohhhh...so i wouldnt need one like this with the longer studs?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...3756.m20.l1116
or should i jus go with the adapters like these?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5x114...em250222153886

would the 15mm spacers be thicker than the stock studs? so it wouldnt stick out pass the spacer? if i were to get the adapters that is..

ii think i might of saw you at the autofashion meet on sunday. those wheels on your white gs look fimiliar. but i would recommending getting the first set with the extended studs. whats wrong with the second set is that you going to screw those on your hub. than your wheel going to go on top. and your wheels wont clear the first set of lugs nut you put on to secure the spacer. the lug nuts will stick out a little bit.
i went through a few spacer sets myself

they explain it in the picture. so extended studs no doubt. its not hard to do.
