Default 91 LS tire with a drop

whats the widest tire I could with 18x8.5 wheels and a 1inch drop..

For 8.5 width I won't put anything wider than 255(this is for the rear) and I'll stay with 245 in the front.
If you are running 18s' maybe drop 1.5 inches instead of 1 inch.

too late.. already droped with Eibach.. I dont want a staggered setup.. i think I'll stick with 245

Peter look at this tire chart use the left chart enter the tire size you have now and size you may want to go to the click on box compare A to B ....and you can get all the specs. of the tires. this may help you.

I agree 245/40 18 is the best choice if you aren't running a staggered set up.
