Question Michelin vs Bridgestone, opinions?

Overall, who do you think makes the best tires?

I know that these two tires don't exactly match up in terms of what they are marketed for, but I've narrowed my choice of tire for my 99 GS400 down to either the:
Bridgestone Turanza LS-V
or
Michelin HyrdroEdge

I know the Turanza will give me better handling and the HydroEdge will give me more miles until the tread wears out and better wet traction. But what I'm wondering is which of these tires is going to produce a better ride (lower road noise, better irregularity absorbtion, etc), and which is going to stay in balance better?

I've read all the reviews at tirerack, epinions, etc, but on this topic I still can't seem to come to any conclusion.

If you don't know the answer to my specific question, at least chime in as to which brand you like better as a whole.

Default Testing

I have tested both tires and I have not found a tire yet that rides better then the Turanza. The Michelin has an excellent ride but not as good as the Bridgestone and the Michelin doesn't have a speed rating that is sufficient for a GS.
