Default 5zigen? Enkei? Konig? Other?

I was planning on getting the split 5 bar 18" SSR wheels for my SC300. The $2500 it would cost for wheels+tires seems like a fair price for the lightweight stylish wheels but its just outta my cost range right now while im still in school.

My question is, which of the cheaper wheels are the best quality? I would like to spend $200-$250 per wheel. Which brand would you guys recomend? Ive definetely seen some 5zigens and Enkeis that I like the look of (obviously not as light as the SSR though), but I dont know anything about the build quality of these companies.

Thanks

Richard

why not save up a little longer to get what you really want?

Enkei and 5zigen are ok.
i had a set of Enkei's on my Legend coupe 3 years ago...they fared well.
Personally, the SC is a big car that demands some fat wheels...if you must feed the mod bug...get some Supra TT wheels and save up for what you really want....cry once my friend. You will b e wishing you waited

Im sure you are right, but Im just really tired of these 16" wheels!

About SSR vs 5zigen or Enkei. Obviously I will save weight going with the SSR, but is there a major difference in the strength of the wheel? I wont be going for big power in my car for another couple of years still so the weight isnt as much of an issue right now. I dont want to hit a little bump in the road and dent up my wheels though.

Skip the ADR and Exels

You can get 18" At Italia or Mille Miglia wheels for under $300 a wheel, or even around $250 a wheel.

do what I did, save up and get what you really want. I know it sucks riding on factory rims now, but when you are rolling on some HRE's or whatever you happen want a couple months down the road , you will definitely agree with my suggestion in the end.
