ok so i finally got my rims for my mini cooper S

they are 17X8
car will not be lowered

i know the 205/45/17 i have currently isnt going to fit on the 8 inch wheels, otherwise that would have been ideal. my lexus had 235 series on 8 inch wheels. do you guys think i should go 225 series on the mini? or stick with 215?

i want the tires to have:

1) good grip on the moutain roads ( AT LEAST EQUAL TO DUNLOP SP9000 runflats)
2)decently quiet on the freeway (AS QUIET AS THE SP9000)

wet weather traction is of 0 concern

car is driven about 350 miles a month. 100 of those miles being moutain roads, rest of them freeway miles.

treadwear and price is a concern as well. i want them to last a while.

go ahead and recommend something please

the only two tires i dont want are the pirelli p7000 (WWAAAAY TOO LOUD) and the dunlop sp5000 runflats (WAAAY TOO squirmy on the corners)
